Who processes your data
The controller is Concello de Pontedeume. You may contact it through the channels published on its official site.
No sign-up is needed to visit this site
No personal data is requested to browse routes, view stops or listen to the audio guides. There are no visitor accounts.
Your location never leaves your device
Guidance uses your phone's location to tell you when you reach a stop. Those coordinates are handled in the browser itself and are NOT sent to any server: neither the council's nor a third party's.
You may deny the location permission and the route still works; the nearest stop simply is not highlighted.
What server logs keep
Like any web server, this one records the requests it receives. The IP address is stored TRUNCATED —without its last group— so that it is useful to spot an attack but not to identify a person. Daily counters are also kept —how many visits, how many walks started and how many finished— so the council can tell whether this is being used. They are counters: there is no row per visit and no visitor identifier. At the end of a walk you are asked, optionally and skippably, for your age range and where you are visiting from.
Council staff
Content editors have an account with an email address and a password. Their sign-ins and changes are logged so it is possible to know who published what. This is kept while the account is active and for as long as records legislation requires.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons and no resources loaded from other domains: maps are served from this very site. The council only sees aggregate counts for its own site.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability from the council.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
